"vorspringing" (vorspringing)

It will be officially mine next Saturday :)
Couple of very minor spots of surface rust, mostly inside the hood, but nothing structural (former Texas car), the bits that are obviously missing in the photo (emblem, front bumper, etc.) are in the trunk or in the owner's house so it's just a matter of reassembly in most cases, and most importantly, it runs and drives. Doesn't have the Recaros, unfortunately, but the replacement seats are in damn near perfect condition so swapping them out will be way down the list of things that get done. Woohoo! :)

I'm going to put the original front back on and live with it for a while before I decide. Probably not, though.

320is :) front/rear sway, factory 5-speed. Everything's stock as far as that goes.

Aww yis. I need to find me one of those (or a 323i) as my last E21 was a bit underwhelming.

Congrats!
+1 for "the Precioussss" reference. Sounds like you're going into it with the right mindset, there's only upside from here! :-)

Cool. Looks perfect, before they decided all cars needed to be at least 2 feet off the ground to drive in the US.

$2k, but this is an '81. Haven't done as much digging on the E30, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

I've had both a 320i and a 323i E21 and they are night and day different cars. The 323i was even more fun than my 2002tii and I would highly recommend getting one if you can find it.
